Hattrick hero helps secure victory

FCV continued to build on the solid foundations of the opening league fixture against New College Stamford in the FCV Invitational League, making it two back-to-back wins that have seen FCV Climb to the top of the table.

Earlier in the month, FCV travelled south to visit F2 Academy with Matheus Cavalcante opening the scoring after just 33 seconds with a delightful chip. The superb attacking display continued as FCV cruised to a 4-2 victory.

The most recent victory came against league rivals Brooke House College. It was an emphatic 5-2 win that was capped off with another dominant performance. Cavalcante carried his excellent form into the game with a hattrick to add to his one goal and two assists so far in the competition.

The Brazilian joined FCV Academy in January and has adapted well to life in England with 4 goals and 2 assists to his name. Matheus is only looking to build on his great start, “I’m feeling good and I’m enjoying my experience here. Everyone is really nice and I’m excited to keep on improving.”
