At FCV International Football Academy, we offer an exciting opportunity for young players to expand their academic knowledge and improve their football skills with our BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport with Football. Students aged 16 to 19-years-old have the chance to train professionally to level up their game while also receiving a high-quality education. Their academic studies will be handled by Loughborough College, which is one of the top sports colleges in the world, to provide students with exceptional studies that can build a successful career in the sports industry.

Our BTEC Level 3 Diploma in sport with elite football training is designed for students who are interested in building a career in the industry, such as professional football, coaching, sports science or related fields. This programme acts as a pathway to degree-level study in the UK to further improve academic studies while still having the chance to boost football skills through elite training. Enrolment for this programme takes place every September and January, giving students the chance to start their journey at different times in the year that suits them most.

Football Training and Matches with Our Two-Year BTEC Sport Diploma with Football

Participating in our two-year BTEC sport diploma with football provides young players with professional training time that aims to build and level up their talent. For 20 hours a week, students gain valuable insights and quality training with our UEFA-qualified coaches to develop their talent and learn new skills. These professional training sessions focus on building technical skills, tactical awareness, physical conditioning and match preparation skills. Alongside the elite training, students have the opportunity to put what they’ve learned into action through regular league fixtures on Wednesdays. These competitive matches allow students to challenge themselves in a professional game environment against top academy teams, building their experience with matches while also creating valuable exposure for their talents.

Beyond regular training and competitive matches, our BTEC Sport Football Academy, with the BTEC Level 3 Extended course, offers direct player pathways. This means that talented players gain the chance to progress their football skills to move from youth development into professional football in our academy. Whether a student wants to get a place in a higher-tier academy team or is looking to progress into professional football contracts, our pathways are tailored to individual skill levels to make sure that every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential with their talent.
