A Levels and Football

Enrol Now

Here at FCV International Football Academy, we provide young football enthusiasts with a unique and exciting opportunity to study sport-related subjects or subjects that interest them, while having the chance to train at a professional level. Our A Levels with football training in England allow 16 to 19-year-olds from around the world to grow academically to prepare for higher education and develop their football skills to kickstart a career in the industry. This is a two-year course in partnership with Loughborough College, which gives students the opportunity to choose three subjects they’re interested in to study, like Psychology, Business and Sciences.

The aim of our football A Level programme is to prepare students for the outside world and achieve success in a career they love. We have expert coaches who focus on levelling up students’ games through essential skill-building and exceptional tutors who offer tailored learning to help students achieve success both on and off the field. Through this programme, teenagers can start their journey in building a career in the football industry.

Please note that it’s advised for applications to be submitted by April to ensure that you’re considered for enrolment in September and avoid missing out on this outstanding opportunity.

Training at Our A Level College with Football Academy

We offer professional training at our A Level college with a football academy to help students grow their talent and even gain opportunities to showcase their skills and open doors for advancement. Players will have 15 hours of training each week and receive expert guidance in every aspect of the game through our UEFA-qualified coaches. We work with individual skill levels to help achieve steady progress and offer comprehensive support to improve your skills. Every training session aims to develop technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness and match readiness to make sure that every student gains a high standard of training that progresses their abilities.

On top of elite training, we provide players with the opportunity to put what they’ve learnt to the test through competitive college football matches. Playing in these leagues means that students face strong opposition from other top academies, and it gives them a chance to play in a professional game to gain experience. Our regular league matches on Wednesdays are an invaluable experience for students because it helps them to refine their skills in real-game scenarios. As well as this, they act as a chance for talented players to gain recognition for their skills and progress further within the academy. For those who perform excellently, they can get the chance to earn a pathway to our FCV Grace Dieu men’s and U23 teams, or even trial for professional clubs. This means that students can progress to a higher level of football while developing their skills in a professional environment to increase their chances of moving on to a professional football career.

Our Two-Year A Level Programme with Football in England Education

The academic classes for our two-year A Level Programme with football in England take place at Loughborough College. This is known for its exceptional sports education opportunities and connections to professional sports organisations. Students gain highly experienced tutors, modern facilities and a supportive learning environment that helps them to excel in their studies and prepare for a successful future career.

Due to studies being held at Loughborough College, students receive a structured academic schedule that’s designed to smoothly integrate with their football training. This approach allows students to develop both their football skills and their academic studies to excel on and off the pitch. Doing A Levels creates a direct pathway to university studies across the UK, giving young football enthusiasts the qualifications they need to apply for a degree in subjects they’re interested in, like sports science, business, psychology and more. Many graduate students from our A Level college with elite football training in England progress on to further education while continuing to improve their football skills.

At our football and A Levels boarding college, students are assessed through a combination of assignments, presentations, practical evaluations and examinations, depending on the chosen subjects.

Timetable to Study A Levels and Play Academy Football

Our A Level programme is more focused on progressing education compared to our BTEC Diploma. This means that to study A Levels and play academy football, students have to dedicate more of their time to their studies for them to grow academically. However, we’ve designed this programme to offer a fair and stress-free balance of learning and football training, so that students can develop their skills on the pitch and academically.
