Continue your education while developing your football skills at FCV International Football Academy.
Designed for students aged 18–23, our three-year degree programmes combine higher education through our partnership with Loughborough College and Loughborough University with football training at our residential academy in Leicestershire.
Students can explore degree subjects including Sport Management, Applied Sport Science, Sports Coaching and Business and Management, while training with UEFA-qualified coaches and competing in organised football fixtures.
With a September intake, our programme offers students the opportunity to work towards a recognised university qualification while continuing their development on the pitch.
Alongside their degree studies, students take part in 10 hours of football training per week, plus matchday, led by FCV’s UEFA-qualified coaches.
Training sessions focus on technical development, tactical awareness and physical conditioning, helping players improve their individual performance and understanding of the game.
Students also have opportunities to compete in regular Wednesday league fixtures, putting their training into practice in a competitive environment.
Players may progress through FCV’s football pathway, including opportunities with our Under-23s and FCV Grace Dieu men’s team, depending on their ability and development.
Through FCV’s education partnership with Loughborough College and Loughborough University, students can pursue degree-level qualifications alongside their football development.
Loughborough is recognised for its sporting heritage and educational opportunities, making it an attractive destination for students interested in careers both within and beyond sport.

International students wishing to study a university degree alongside football training at FCV may need a UK Student visa.
FCV’s Admissions Team works alongside our education partners to guide students through the application process, including the requirements for a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

Students live at FCV’s residential campus, Grace Dieu Manor Park, in Leicestershire.
Accommodation includes shared twin bedrooms with private bathrooms, with single-room accommodation also available. Three meals are provided daily, and students have access to on-site facilities, including a gym, swimming pool and dedicated players’ hub.
The campus brings accommodation, football training and leisure facilities together in one location, while students are taken to Loughborough for their academic studies.
