At FCV International Football Academy, we offer higher education programs tailored for students passionate about both football and academics. In partnership with Loughborough College and University, our degree options combine excellent education with elite football training. Students can pursue degrees like Sport Management, Applied Sport Science, and Sports Coaching while receiving world-class coaching and playing for FCV’s Under 23 team. Enrolment takes place every September, providing students the opportunity to begin their academic and athletic journey at the start of each academic year.
Players train up to 15 hours a week with UEFA-qualified coaches, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. Regular league fixtures on Wednesdays provide competition against top academy teams, offering valuable exposure. Beyond training, our academy features clear pathways for player development, allowing talent to progress from our U23 team to our FCV Grace Dieu Semi-Professional Men’s team or even professional football trials. Whether advancing to higher-tier academy teams or securing professional contracts, our pathways ensure every player can maximise their potential in both football and their degree studies.
Education for FCV players will take place at Loughborough University, a globally recognised institution known for its world-class facilities and strong ties to professional sports. With a distinguished history of producing elite athletes, including Olympians, Loughborough provides a unique environment where students can excel in their chosen sports while receiving an exceptional education, ensuring they are fully equipped for success in both their sports careers and educational studies.

We offer one of the most affordable international degree options at £35,000, which includes university education, accommodation, and football training. This is a great value package, especially considering that typical education costs in the UK range from £27,000 – £35,000 per year (including accommodation and living costs) without the additional football program. Our package covers accommodation, food, transport for football and education, as well as WiFi and access to all FCV facilities. Additionally, players are included in the Under 23’s squad for football development.

FCV’s Admissions Team, in partnership with Loughborough College’s Admissions Team, provides support and guidance for all players and families throughout the student visa application process.
At the end of the process, students will receive a CAS Statement (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), which allows international students to study in the UK. The CAS Statements will be issued by Loughborough College once the following processes have been completed (FCV Admissions will provide support for families in this process).
