Football Association confirm football is back!
FCV International Football Academy are delighted with the recent announcement from The FA confirming that the UK Government approved its plan for the return of outdoor grassroots football.
As a result, the grassroots football community can now return to football and prepare for the start of the new season.
All foootball activities can take place with necessary modifications in place to mitigate the transmission risk of COVID-19.
With the Academy opening on 14th September 2020 it has now been confirmed that outdoor competitive football, including training and matches, can begin from August.
“This is the news we have been waiting for and whilst there are some restrictions still in place this allows us to open as planned in September and get back on to football pitch, something we have all missed so much. Players looking to join us on a full-time course or short course can now book with more confidence.” commented Managing Director, Graham Starmer.
The Academy will follow all the necessary protocols and will ensure all the facilities have completed the necessary risk assessments and that comprehensive plans are in place.
