At FCV International Football Academy, we provide aspiring footballers with an environment to develop their abilities and work towards opportunities in senior and professional football.
Through professional coaching, competitive matches and individual player development, we help players improve their game and prepare for the next stage of their football journey.
Our pathways include opportunities to progress into senior football through FCV Grace Dieu, alongside potential exposure to professional clubs and scouts.
Every player arrives at FCV with different abilities, experiences and ambitions. Our approach focuses on helping individuals improve their game, build confidence and prepare for opportunities at the next level.
Through regular coaching, match analysis and feedback from our experienced coaching staff, players are encouraged to develop the technical, tactical, physical and mental attributes needed to progress in football.
Competitive football plays an important role in player development. Regular match opportunities allow players to apply their skills in challenging environments, gain valuable experience and demonstrate their progress on the pitch.
Through showcase matches, competitive fixtures and our connections within football, FCV aims to create opportunities for players to demonstrate their abilities to clubs and scouts.
Where appropriate, talented players may be considered for further assessment, professional club trials or opportunities within senior football.
Progression is about more than footballing ability. We also encourage players to develop the discipline, professionalism and understanding required to adapt to the expectations of senior and professional football.
One of the unique opportunities available at FCV International Football Academy is the potential to progress into our own senior men’s team, FCV Grace Dieu.
Competing within the English football pyramid, FCV Grace Dieu provides a valuable link between academy development and competitive senior football. For players who demonstrate the ability and readiness to progress, the team offers an opportunity to experience the physical demands, intensity and expectations of the senior game.
Making the transition from academy football to the senior game is a significant step in any player’s development.
Through FCV Grace Dieu, selected academy players can gain experience competing against established senior footballers, developing their confidence, physical resilience and understanding of the game at a higher level.
Having this pathway within FCV allows ambitious players to work towards senior football opportunities while remaining part of the academy’s wider development environment.
FCV Grace Dieu is managed by former Premier League defender Jack Hobbs, whose professional career included spells at Liverpool, Leicester City, Hull City and Nottingham Forest.
Having experienced the demands of professional football first-hand, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, helping players understand the standards, mentality and commitment required to compete at senior level.
For aspiring footballers, FCV Grace Dieu provides a valuable opportunity to take the next step towards senior football, supported by the experience and development environment of FCV International Football Academy.
At FCV International Football Academy, our ambition extends beyond developing players on the training pitch. We work to create opportunities for talented footballers to showcase their abilities, gain recognition and pursue progression into professional football.
Through our established network of football contacts, competitive fixtures and showcase events, FCV provides an environment where players can demonstrate their potential and gain valuable exposure to the wider football industry.
Our showcase matches give players opportunities to perform in competitive environments, with professional club scouts and representatives invited to assess emerging talent.
These events form an important part of our player development approach, allowing players to demonstrate their technical ability, tactical understanding and performance under pressure.
Where players demonstrate the required ability, attitude and potential, FCV can help facilitate opportunities for assessment or trials with professional football clubs.
Our coaching staff use their experience and connections within the game to help identify suitable opportunities, recognising that every player’s development and progression will follow a different path.
Securing an opportunity is only one part of the journey. Players must also be prepared to meet the standards expected within professional football.
Through consistent development, competitive experience and guidance from experienced coaches, FCV helps players build the qualities needed to pursue opportunities beyond the academy.
At FCV International Football Academy, we’re proud of our track record in helping ambitious young footballers progress towards their goals.
Our former players have gone on to secure professional contracts, earn opportunities with clubs across Europe and represent their countries at international level.
