The Academy’s main residential houses are the Garden House and the Coach House. We do on occasion use landladies who have been fully checked by our Welfare Manager and hold the same safety certificates as our full-time residential staff. They are situated within a two-minute walk of the Garden House, where they would still be able to enjoy the facilities offered plus take their meals with other students. Our Landladies would normally have between two and six students at any time, occasionally accommodating players when the Academy is closed.

They are very much family orientated having had families of their own, as well as previously fostering younger children. With multi lingual speakers in French & Spanish as well as English, it is very much a homely atmosphere. This type of accommodation also gives the student a little more independence, which is the main reason we look to house older students. It is a shared bathroom facility rather than the en-suite offered in the Garden House, however there is access to Wi-Fi, space to study, lounge area and garden to relax in.
