It can be difficult to know how to book a residential football camp in England for 2026, especially if you live in Europe or another country. There are so many factors that go into booking the right camp for your child, and a lot of preparation to make sure that travel is smooth and stress-free. We’ve outlined some crucial steps to follow for you to book a camp easily and ensure that it’s the best one for your child and their needs.
Before you reserve a football camp place in England, you need to thoroughly research different camps. Look at what each academy offers your child, the ages they take, the skill level the camp caters to and activities they offer. Only look at reputable academies to avoid spending a lot of money on a poor experience for your child. It’s best to choose a camp that can help to improve football skills, while also offering fun downtime activities and unique experiences, so your child can get the most out of their time.
During your research, make sure that you look into every little detail of the camp that seems the best for your child. Look at the age requirements, the dates, the location, the accommodation options and, most importantly, the cost and what your money gets for your child. If a camp isn’t transparent with what your money provides, it’s best to avoid it.
Once you find a camp that suits your child’s needs and your budget, you should find out more information from them by contacting the camp. Doing this allows you to discuss further what the camp offers your child and ask any questions you may have before you commit to travelling there. Our friendly team are always here to help you understand our summer camp and understand that travelling to the UK from another country means you need to be fully sure of the camp you choose. We are here to help you and answer your questions to put your mind at ease.
When you’ve made your decision, you should book your child’s place at the camp as soon as possible to ensure that they get a space. This can be done by either contacting the camp or using an online registration form. With this, make sure that you specify the dates your child can attend if the camp has different dates. At FCV, we make it easy for you to book your child’s place, as there are different ways to do this. You can call our team, email us or fill out our online enquiry form.
If the camp offers any extras that can benefit your child, make sure you add them to your football summer camp enrolment in the UK to create the best experience for them. Doing this can create the most unforgettable experience that allows your child to grow in many different ways. We offer many extras that can make your child’s stay stress-free and meaningful. You can organise convenient and easy airport pickup and drop-off for an extra fee from a wide range of UK airports, so you don’t have to worry about your child reaching our camp safely. As well as this, we offer English language lessons to all international participants for £200 a week for 8 hours of study.
When you’ve booked your child’s place, you need to secure it with a deposit for many football camps. At FCV, we require a £200 deposit to confirm your child’s spot and ensure they don’t miss out.
After your child’s spot is secured, it’s time to prepare for camp. You should arrange appropriate flights as early as possible and transport to and from the airport both ways, in your country and the UK. This ensures that your child has a hassle-free journey that puts them at ease before they reach camp. Make sure your child’s passport is valid for travel on the dates required and that any documentation, like visas, is applied for and ready before they travel. You should also get your child’s medical forms ready to take with them and any football equipment they need.
