Another exciting summer has come to an end at the FCV International Football Academy! This year, we successfully hosted four intensive 2-week camps that combined high-quality training, memorable excursions, and competitive friendly matches, uniting young footballers from around the world. This summer was truly remarkable at FCV International Football Academy. Participants took part in professional-level training sessions twice a day, where they developed their skills, learned advanced techniques, and gained a deeper understanding of the game.
However, our camps offered more than just training. We also arranged competitive friendly matches, allowing players to put their training into action in a challenging yet supportive environment. These experiences not only enhanced their skills but also built their confidence and nurtured a professional mindset towards football.
What makes our summer camps truly unique is the combination of high-intensity football training and enriching excursions. This summer, our players visited some of the most iconic football stadiums in England. Each camp featured a trip to a different stadium, giving our players the opportunity to tour Old Trafford, The Emirates, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Wembley.
In addition to stadium tours, our players participated in team-building activities, including visits to escape rooms. These activities are carefully designed to enhance teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities—key qualities needed to succeed in football at a professional level. On-site at FCV, players also engaged in various activities that helped them build strong bonds and create lasting memories.
One of the standout features of our summer camps is the diversity of our participants. This year, we were delighted to welcome groups from Antigua, Oman, Nigeria, and many other countries. In fact, we had players join us from every continent, representing over 20 nationalities and bringing with them a wealth of unique perspectives and styles. This incredible mix of cultures and playing styles created a rich, educational environment where players not only improved their own skills but also learned from each other’s unique approaches to the game.
After such a successful summer, we are eagerly looking forward to the 2025 camps.
