FCV International Football Academy has wrapped up a highly successful series of football training camps in Oman, held from 14th to 21st June 2025. Sessions took place in Muscat, Sur, and Sohar, giving young players direct access to professional-level coaching and insight into the football and academic pathways available in the UK.
Led by Head of Academy Football Grant Brown, the FCV team delivered structured, high-intensity training designed to challenge players both technically and tactically. Each camp drew dozens of motivated and talented participants eager to develop their skills and understand what it takes to compete at the next level.
“The level of talent in Oman has been outstanding,” said Brown. “The energy, commitment, and raw ability we’ve seen in Muscat, Sur, and Sohar have really impressed us. We’re excited to follow the progress of many of these players.”
Beyond training, FCV also engaged with government officials and local football authorities to explore long-term opportunities for football development in Oman. Discussions focused on supporting grassroots initiatives, building pathways for elite talent, and aligning with the country’s wider football ambitions.
“It was a privilege to speak with people genuinely committed to developing the game here,” Brown added. “There’s real intent to invest in young players and create sustainable routes for their growth. We’re proud to be part of that journey.”
This visit marks a significant step in FCV’s international outreach and reinforces the academy’s commitment to supporting emerging football talent worldwide.
