English Language Football Programme
Learn English and Develop Your Football Skills in England
FCV International Football Academy’s English Language Football Programme combines full-time English language education with professional-standard football training in the UK.
Designed for international students aged 16–23, this 35-week residential programme offers the opportunity to develop English language skills through our education partner, ESBM (English Studies for Business and Management), while training with FCV’s UEFA-qualified football coaches.
Based at Grace Dieu Manor Park in Leicestershire, students benefit from on-site accommodation, daily meals, football facilities and dedicated welfare support throughout their stay.
The programme is suitable for students looking to improve their English proficiency while continuing their football development in a structured academy environment.
What’s Included in the English Language Football Programme?
Our 35-week programme provides a structured combination of English language education, football training and residential support at FCV International Football Academy.
The programme includes five key areas, outlined below, covering students’ academic development, football experience and day-to-day life at the academy.
Football Training
- Regular training sessions led by UEFA-qualified coaches.
- Competitive match opportunities throughout the programme.
- Strength and conditioning sessions to support physical development.
- Access to football training facilities at Grace Dieu Manor Park.
- Coaching focused on technical skills, tactical awareness and individual player development.
English Language Education
- English language courses delivered in partnership with ESBM (English Studies for Business and Management).
- General English lessons, IELTS preparation, academic writing and exam support.
- Small class sizes with individual progress monitoring.
- Lessons delivered by qualified tutors experienced in teaching international students.
Accommodation and Meals
- Residential accommodation at Grace Dieu Manor Park in Leicestershire.
- Shared twin bedrooms with private bathrooms, with single-room accommodation also available.
- Three nutritious meals provided daily.
- Access to on-site facilities, including the gym, swimming pool and players’ hub.

- Complete your application – Submit the required FCV application documents and any information requested by our English language education partner, ESBM.
- Confirm your place – Once your application has been accepted, our team will explain the deposit requirements and arrange the relevant offer letters from FCV and ESBM.
- Arrange your visa and travel – International students requiring a visa will receive guidance on the relevant application process and supporting documents. Once approved, you can arrange your travel to the UK.
- Arrive at FCV – Settle into your accommodation at Grace Dieu Manor Park, meet the team and prepare to begin your programme.
