Peterborough United's Ryan Semple to speak at FCV Academy camp
Peterborough United's Youth Development Lead Phase Coach, Ryan Semple, and Cambridge United defender Greg Taylor, have been confirmed as a guest speaker at FCV Academy's February development camp.
The camp, which runs from 11th to 17th February, combines expert coaching, nutritional advice, and showcase matches in front of scouts from the Premier League, English Football League and further afield.
Guest speakers are also a regular feature at our camps, with top coaches and scouts sharing their words of wisdom with the aspiring young footballers, and February's camp is no different with Semple's addition.
Semple made his way through Peterborough's ranks after joining at the age of eight, going on to enjoy a successful professional playing career with the Posh and several other clubs before turning to coaching.
The development camp students will have the chance to quiz the 31-year-old on his career and his current role, and gain invaluable advice from a man who knows exactly what it takes to make it as a pro.

A fan favourite at Cambridge United, Taylor has been a regular fixture in the line-up for the League Two Play-Off chasers, and has already tasted success with the U's when winning promotion from the Football Conference and lifting the FA Trophy at Wembley.
Having played at non-league level and professionally, the 27-year-old defender offers plenty of expertise on how to rise through the ranks and form a successful career in the game.
