International Football Academy Statement
International Football Academy Statement
Posted Monday 6th April 2020

Following the latest advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), World Health Organisation (WHO) Public Health England (PHE) and other sources including our local partners,  we are constantly monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its impact, and doing all we can to make safe and reassure our staff and students.

In all our planning we have been guided by two principles – firstly the need to minimise the impact and risk to staff and students, and secondly the requirement to sustain essential operations while minimising the need for staff and students to travel to and from the Academy.

We will continue to evolve our plans as the situation changes. We are ensuring that as we develop these plans, we are doing everything possible to support students and staff and we will continue to communicate and support to the best of our ability if we enter a period of significant national disruption.

Please be assured all enquiries will continue to be monitored with contingency plans already in place and would recommend any questions you have are initially sent to

From April 19th 2020 – May 22nd 2020

Our current students have now made plans to return home or have left the Academy early for the Easter Holidays. As it stands they, and any new students for a Short Course, will arrive as planned from April 19th to commence the final term.

However we are very aware this date may need to change so strongly recommend no travel plans are made until as late as possible. Any changes we will notify all students and families directly.
