FCV Academy to return to Nigeria
FCV International Football Academy are returning to Nigeria to continue their work with Dynaspro Promotion and will be hosting a special Easter camp in 2019.
FCV Academy Director Martin Harris and FCV International Coach Russell Fryer will be visiting schools and clubs in December to launch the Gladiator Football Camps that will be held in Lagos and Abuja in April 2019.
Graham Starmer, FCV Managing Director, explained: “We are delighted to be working with Dynaspro on these football camps. Having worked together for the previous eight years, we believe these camps will provide even more opportunities for male Nigerian footballers aged between 14 and 19 years old to attend our Academy in the UK.
“We know this will help them with their football development as well as provide an education and we can confirm we will be providing four players from these camps with the chance to attend our Academy in the UK in August 2019.”
Harris added: “Participation in football enhances individual skills, builds teamwork and character, but most importantly is fun. At the FCV Academy, we value our pupils not only as athletes but also as students, combining both sporting and academic excellence to enhance our younger generation, giving them a platform to achieve both on and off the football pitch.
“The Academy welcomes students from across the globe, and since our partnership with Dynaspro began, this has included those from Nigeria. We now look forward to bringing our Academy’s core values and coaching methods directly to Nigeria in April next year, enabling our coaches to work with these younger players to give them a fantastic insight and experience in football.”
Further information will be announced in the coming weeks.
