FCV Academy scholar finals and Easter showcase match

Scouts from across the Premier League, EFL and National League embarked on the Borderville Sports Centre on Friday 7th April 2017 to see FCV Academy's scholarship competition reach its conclusion, including the showcase match.
After teaming up with FourFourTwo Performance, FCV Academy had two pro level scholarships led by UEFA-qualified coaches on offer: a one-year full scholarship as a day student, and a one-year 50% scholarship on the residential full-time programme.
All entrants into the competition attended a training session with FCV where they were assessed by coaches Ben Watts and Grant Brown, and a lucky few were then selected to return for last week's development camp and showcase match at Borderville.

Now, with the two winners selected, we can reveal the recipient of our full day student scholarship is... Luke Oswick.
Oswick came to FCV as a left-back, and has already been converted by Academy Manager Grant Brown into a central defender - much like the former Lincoln City man himself.
"FCV Academy has already helped me learn a lot," Oswick explained. "Grant has really helped me develop my game in this short space of time, so I can't wait to get going.
"This is an amazing opportunity, and a very exciting time for me."
