FCV Academy doors open for summer
FCV Academy are running a two to four-week summer course, to help ensure players are match fit and ready for the start of the new season.
The course provides coaching, guest speakers, strength and conditioning, nutritional advice and a showcase match played in front of scouts.
For players aged 14–21 years old, you will have the option of staying for two, three or four weeks with the optional extra of studying English Language.
Players will stay at the Academy’s Boarding House in Stamford, and train at the Borderville Sports Complex. The boarding house will offer use of all its facilities on an exclusive basis.
The opportunity will be presented to players to learn from a world record holder, too. Football freestyler John Farnworth will be visiting the Academy to give a talk to those in attendance and even teach them a few tricks.
The course gives budding footballers the opportunity to experience the expert coaching available at the in Academy in a full-time environment throughout their summer break from school or college.
