AS and A Level
FCV International Football Academy can offer students the opportunity to take AS and A Level qualifications, to support their BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Studies course. A variety of qualifications are available, aimed at meeting the individual needs of the student.
Additional costs are required for students wishing to study an AS or A Level through the FCV academy, further information is available on request.
Advanced level qualifications (known as A levels) are subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training, or work. Through Oxford Education Consulting (OEC), the Academy can offer the opportunity to take various AS and A level qualifications.
OEC personalise its services and delivery to the needs of the individual student. With a team of expert and experienced teachers who specialise in the educational wellbeing and guidance of students, OEC support learning for both UK and International students.
Using a highly effective online teaching platform, specialist teachers deliver live lessons through the easy to use platform. Delivered on a one to one or small group basis, personalised advice and assessment enables each lesson to be specifically tailored to the needs of the individual.
There are several A Level courses to choose from, so whatever your needs or interests there will be something to suit. Students can study towards either an AS or A level, and whilst some courses will require an individual to have studied GCSE’s or equivalent before enrolment, other subjects do not require prior knowledge.
A dedicated personal tutor will be allocated for each course of study. Each of the OEC tutors are an expert in the subject they teach and will be responsible for the delivery of each lesson, marking work and providing support and feedback during the course.
All AS and A level courses require you to sit an exam at the end of your course and some involve assessed coursework that will be built up during the time you spend studying the course. OEC will arrange the exam at test centre suitable for the student, exams take place predominantly between May to July of each year, where each student will register as a private candidate and pay exam fees to the exam centre.
Students who live outside of the UK are welcome to enrol on an A Level, with many A Level exams having test centres not only in the UK but also Internationally.
