Academy Student Receives International Recognition
The 18 year old Academy defender said of the call up “I am really excited by the opportunity; I can’t wait to go back home and meet up with the rest of the squad. Some of the players I have previously played with at a younger age group in the national side, so it will be nice to see some familiar faces”.
Last summer Diushembiev spent time training with both the Kyrgyzstan U23 Olympic and senior team, adding to his experience at International level. Academy Head Coach Ian Sampson commented “We are extremely pleased for Baitik to receive this recognition from his home country, International recognition it is always a great honour and achievement. He is a very dedicated person in training; he works extremely hard both on and off the pitch to improve his overall game”.
The December camp will act as a final selection process for the U21 coach Eshenov, who will then take his youngsters over to Russia in January 2015 for a mini tournament in St Petersburg. Diushembiev whilst being one of the youngest involved in the camp, will be keen to impress the U21 staff, as he looks to gain selection for the forthcoming tournament.
